If you have never been to Sault Ste Marie, below are some reasons why you must go there this year.

When you arrive at this town, you may be confused because of the many places you need to visit. However, you can start by touring the ACWP Park that is located one hundred and eighty kilometers away from the city. You will travel by train and come across the Montreal River trestle. This trestle is 1500ft long and 130ft high. Also, in the park, there will be more sites to see.

This town has 300 campsites and a three-kilometer beach. While camping in one of the campgrounds, you can swim in the Caribbean waters that are very inviting. Also, some bays and places have warm water that you can swim in. Thus, if you have already visited the ACWP, you can spend the next day swimming.

People who love road trips have also been remembered. This town has so many sites to visit. Thus, if you wish, you can rent a car and set off. You will see the rugged mountains in the outskirts of the city. Also, you will see the coastline and feel the warm breezes on your face. The winding roads will make the experience more exciting.

Hiking is also another great way to enjoy this town. There are several hiking trails you can use. One of the trails runs for 6 kilometers. During the hike, you will see cascading waterfalls as well as river rapids among other exciting features. Also, you will see the Pingusibi River that is filled with white sand. This river has been made to a canoe route. Thus there are still more experiences waiting for you.

For those who like walking, you can walk through the city during the afternoons and evenings. There are so many beautiful walking routes that will take you to several places like historical parks and other lovely areas in the city. Also, you can walk along St. Marys River and enjoy the view.

Like many towns, this one also has its own history. Thus, besides all the fun, you can take the time to learn about the history of the city. There are more than one heritage centers you can visit and learn a thing or two about the town. Also, the historic canals are interesting to see.

When you have decided to visit this town, make sure you have set aside enough money to facilitate the trip. Also, avoid asking native to tell you about the city as you may be disappointed. Explore on your own and marvel at the sites that your town does not have.
