Use A Full Menu Italian Catering Seattle Company For Your Next Party

By Pamela Sullivan

Cooking is fun if you know how to do it, or if you have the time. Some people simply do not have the time or inclination, though. In some cases, you want to have a surprise bash or perhaps you are a supervisor who wants to treat your employees to a wonderful, multicourse meal. No matter the reason, a Full Menu Italian Catering Seattle company can help you provide food for a small or very large group without all the usual shopping, work, and stress that might come with such a feat.

The menu options are many, and largely depend upon which company you ultimately decide to go with. Most service is done buffet style, with a few workers there to quickly replace empty bowls or trays and make sure fresh, hot food is always on the table. You can opt instead for a formal sit down dinner, which will cost extra.

You could also decide to do something really fun that is unexpected as well. Some catering companies, instead of the usual buffet service, can send a food truck instead that is loaded with heavenly food options. Some trucks even have a pizza oven on board, which is perfect for a child party because almost all kids love to eat pizza hot from the oven.

Most sessions last from two to four hours, but if you need longer service, that can be arranged in advance. All you have to do is call to set up an appointment with a local caterer. Tell them how many you need served and what kind of foods you want. They can come up with a menu that satisfied every need, including those who need or desire gluten free or vegan meals.

If you are serving multiple courses, the first will be the appetizers. You can choose one or several, depending on how fancy you want to get. Salad is a very popular choice for appetizer, but you can also serve the classic antipasti tray full of meats and cheeses. There is also calamari, meatballs and other options, too.

The main course is the centerpiece of the meal, so you want to select one that is a crowd pleaser, such as the classic spaghetti and meatballs or meat sauce. A nice alternative is fettuccine Alfredo, or go a bit nontraditional with paninins. Vegetarians can nosh on eggplant parmigiana, and vegans can opt for the same dish without the usual cheese.

Dessert might include gelato, which is a form of Italian ice cream. Tiramisu is another treat that people love when visiting an Italian restaurant, and of course there are classic cakes as well. These can be served immediately after the entrees, or you can have the staff hold off on serving them for awhile.

You cannot have a full meal without beverages. Most catering companies have a small selection of beverages that cover most tastes. These include water and iced tea, which are usually included with the meal. For an extra fee, however, you can order specialty drinks such as sodas or juices and even carbonated water. Alcohol with bartender service generally requires the hiring of a specialty bar service due to legal restrictions.
