One of the best places to visit when in this university town is called Top of the Stairs. This place first got started in 1978, and it has been a popular college bar Blacksburg for the students who go to school there ever since. Those who are lovers of barbecue and the usual food you can expect in a pub will feel right at home here, and there's also the cocktails and karaoke.

Those who are fans of Japanese, Indian, or Mediterranean food will have a great meal at Green's Grill and Sushi Bar. Those who are not so keen on those cultural dishes can also order American cuisine there. The best part about this place is it is casual and gives off a very relaxing vibe, so you feel free to just relax and be yourself here.

Those who are trying to catch the big game at a local pub might consider giving Big Al's a try. They are located on the second floor at 201 North Main Street. Their high definition TVs are a huge draw for anyone who can't make it to the big game but still wants to enjoy it with an enthusiastic crowd.

London Underground Pub Limited is an excellent place to go for those who are looking for a traditional American pub experience. The dart boards and other games, live music, classic food, and craft beers draw a lot of people here. This establishment is family run, and it really shows in the atmosphere and the way that it is run. All this happens at 112 North Main Street.

If you are looking for a place to just chill out and smoke some shisha, the She-Sha Cafe and Hookah Lounge may be perfect for you. There is a vast selection of flavored tobaccos to enjoy there, as well as a cultural range of dishes. Live music and friendly vibes are located at 211 Draper Road Northwest.

Blacksburg TapHouse has a rotating selection of microbrews for those who have a very diverse pallet for beer. The burgers they serve are not always what you would expect, but the majority of people absolutely love them. The cigar bar and patio are the other main draws of this town's title pub.

At 212 Draper Road Northwest is a business called River Mill. This is a great place to go for those who are looking for a country feel that seems to put them in a different time. The wood panels do a lot to add ambiance. Along with many different craft beers, River Mill also boasts loaded tater tots.

1470 South Main Street is the location of Bull and Bones Brewhaus, and it draws a pretty rough crowd. A lot of people love to have a lively good time here to play billiards and roughhouse with friends, and this is a great place for them to do so. Those who want to sit down and have a meal have the dining room, a more peaceful option.
