Locating A Prime Steak House San Antonio

By Stephanie Mitchell

When looking for a good steak, carnivores have a lot of options. One of which is at a Prime Steak House San Antonio. For, when it comes to the south, two foods which are plentiful and well known are steak and barbecue. Whether cooking these foods at home on a grill, or eating out, these foods have a long tradition with people of, and from the region.

San Antonio, TX is best known for the championship San Antonio Spurs, the annual stock show and rodeo, Fiesta and Riverwalk. While somewhat overlooked, the city also hosts some of the best restaurants in the world. Many of these restaurants including an outstanding steakhouse which offers indoor, patio or on-a-boat dining are located on the adjacent to the river.

The city hosts also hosts a number of tourist oriented places of business from Ripley's believe it or not and a virtual movie theater and wax museums to the always free and historic Alamo. While free to enter, there are offerings which can add to a visit such as guided tours and a gift shop.

When it comes to the historic Alamo, it is definitely worth spending an hour or two during open hours. Although, one of the best and most fun ways to tour the grounds is by attending one of the Alamo oriented ghost tours. While the tour focuses on the Alamo grounds, guests are also taken on a tour of local haunts such as bars, hotels and restaurants.

The Riverwalk is the main feature of this amazing city. Visitors can enjoy a variety of bar drinks, food, ice cream and other snacks while walking along the riverside. There are also several hotels which sit right on the banks of the river allowing for beautiful views and easy access. It is important to note that some sections of the river which are more desolate can be dangerous at night.

While the Riverwalk can be beautiful during the day, it can often be dangerous at night. For this reason, it is always advised those walking at night carry a flashlight and walk in small or large groups. Those staying in the vicinity of the many well lit bars, restaurants, shops and other attractions can often do so without as much concern.

Attractions are plentiful in the city, some of which can be reached by a short bus, taxi or car ride. Some of these include Six Flags, Sea World, water parks, the zoo, botanical gardens and museums. One of the nicest features in the gardens is that of the gondola which provides an aerial view of the local gardens, park and zoo.

Whether visiting in early spring or mid-summer, it is always best to make lodging reservations in advance. When planning on visiting popular attractions like Sea World and Six Flags, it is also advised to purchase tickets in advance, many of which can be bought at a discount from discount programs.
