Easy One Dish Chicken Recipes

Even if you do not have sufficient time to prepare complicated dishes, it does not mean that you cannot eat healthy, freshly prepared food. Using just a few simple ingredients, you can prepare simple, but really tasty meals. Here you will find several one dish chicken recipes, really easy to prepare and simply delicious.

It is especially easy to make chicken steaks with cream and cheese. Simply fry one pound of spiced small steaks on olive oil, until golden. Combine one cup of cream with the same amount of grated cheese and pour this mixture over your steaks. Add a little bit of salt and pepper. Put it all in preheated oven and bake for maybe twenty minutes. Serve with your favorite salad.

You could also try making this simple version of chicken paella. Prepare two cups of meat strips, red, yellow and green peppers cut into strips, one larger chopped onion and two cups of rice. You will also need some olive oil, pepper, salt and cherry tomatoes. Pour onions in preheated oil, after a few minutes add your meat stripes and vegetables. When everything get softer, add rice and water or stock. Cook for twenty to twenty five minutes.

Chicken kebabs. Two pounds of meat cut into cubes, one large red pepper, one onion, one zucchini, olive oil, salt, pepper and wooden sticks. Slice the vegetables, mix all ingredients in a bowl and add the spices and oil. Stack the pieces of meat and vegetables alternately on wooden skewers. Bake on the grill or in the oven.

If you like drumsticks, try this simple recipe. Simply place your drumsticks in preheated oven for about fifteen minutes. Cut one pound of potatoes, one onion and one zucchini into cubes and add all ingredients into the pan. Bake for thirty minutes or so, until done. Serve with your favorite salad.

Creamy soup tastes simply great, and it is so easy to prepare. Simply cook one pound of chopped meat with carrots and peas, add some broth and spices. When everything is tender, add one cup of cream and some chopped dill and cook for another few minutes.

Tortillas with chicken and vegetables. Take two cups of meat cut into strips, one large onion, red and yellow peppers, cherry tomatoes and spices. You will also need four tortillas. Cut the veggies into thin strips and leave half of them aside. Fry the rest with meat on some olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper. Combine cooked and fresh ingredients in each tortilla.

Summer plate. You need three cups of meat cut into wider straps, a carrot, a zucchini, three peppers, one larger onion, a carrot, a small egg-plant and spices of your choice. Brown the meat in olive oil, add all the vegetables cut into strips, season all with salt, pepper and herbs and bake for another few minutes. Serve with a salad and corn bread.
