Socializing With Paint And Wine Parties

By Serena Price

The newest in social outlets are paint and wine parties. Even if you don't have an ounce of drawing or painting experience, these activities can provide you and your friends with hours of artistic fun. You will be very surprised at the quality artwork you will bring home at the end of the evening.

With the addition of a glass of wine or two, you will find it easier to unleash your untapped abilities. With your friends at your side, you will all enjoy the benefits of working on projects that excite and entertain. And, most importantly of all, you will not go home empty handed.

Some venues may insist that you purchase your wine on site while others allow you to bring your own. Check first before arriving with your favorite bottle tucked under your arm. If permitted to bring personal wines, ask all your friends to bring a different variety so all can share and taste new and different types. Many venues will supply snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for their clients as well.

Be sure to investigate the different venues in your area and the different requirements of each. They all should supply the paint, brushes and canvasses as part of the cost to attend. Compare pricing and actually visit some of the locations. After making your selection of the best location, be sure to make reservations for all who plan on coming.

Local artists and teachers may be employed to assist you in your art experience. They will provide basis instruction to get you started and then advise you on your progress as needed. Some will have a specific project for you to focus on while others will allow patrons the freedom to choose their own designs and picture.

Some of these establishments allow older children to attend on a limited basis. Keep your child in check and allow her to participate in the painting aspect of the function. Children's birthday parties and home schooled students can sign up their own private groups but must be well supervised by several adults.

There are so many ways to celebrate at these venues. Birthday gatherings will give the birthday honoree a wall full of colorful well-wishes. Busy mothers can schedule a Girls' Night Out for an evening of creative and relaxing fun. Bachelorette celebrations will supply a new couple with enough artwork for an entire home. Companies can hold employee meetings to increase morale and levels of teamwork.

Cocktails and Canvas businesses may be a similar venue in your area except they serve a larger variety of beverages including hard liquor. Always check with each business as to their beverage policies because they may be very different. Choose the business that best suits your preferences and your budget.

Look for these paint and wine parties in your neighborhood. It is an excellent way to meet new people, especially if you don't know anyone in Denver, Colorado, or the surrounding area. You never know, you may sign up for art classes after this experience!
