Fresh Seafood Delivered On A Daily Basis

By Allyson Burke

You cannot get away with serving fresh seafood and not have the fresh seafood delivered that day. If you are going to make a large seafood dinner you cannot freeze it and expect it to taste fresh five days later. Sure it might be cheaper to buy it already frozen in a grocery store but anyone who knows the difference can tell pretty quickly.

Sure, the temptation is to go with the cheaper meal and just buy it frozen. You probably figure who is going to care or who is going to know. But people will know. If you are throwing a big dinner party for people at the office or you are having any sort of special guests for dinner you cannot use frozen foods. It would be a disgrace.

While this is what people would assume, it is not true. There are easier ways to do things like this and all it takes is a bit of common sense and patience. The first thing to do is to just find a couple places that look as if they have been around for a while. This is usually what the locals would do years ago when they first became a local.

This is why having it delivered is the only choice. People do not often think of this as an option however because the seafood is expensive enough and when you add delivery charges to the cost it can seem to go through the already destroyed roof. This is not the case though. When you use a reputable and well thought of distributor.

Finding these companies is not all that difficult either, not with the Internet. Almost all of these companies have a website or some sort of advertisement on the net that you can find. Once you do all it takes is a simple phone call to find out how small of a party that they will handle. If they can do yours then you are in business.

When you order the meal ask the waiter specifically if the fish in the meal was truly brought in that day. He should be able to tell you without any hesitation and should know without having to ask someone else for help. Any establishment that has daily deliveries does not keep it a secret. Generally the wait staff knows what has come in because they are there before the place opens.

If you hire a company that has experience with small parties then you can rest assured they will be able to prepare a meal that will satisfy even the most picky of eaters. If you want seafood this is the way to go too. With all the extra work that goes into that kind of meal a caterer is the best choice to handle something like that.

The last thing you need is all the hassle that can come with cooking a dish that requires extra attention and to be super fresh. Getting fresh seafood delivered would save the day but so would a catering company that will do the same thing. At least this way they will have the worry and you will not. It will be a stress free day.
