What To Have In The Morning With Breakfast Seasonings

By Elena McDowell

The importance of having some food in the morning cannot be overemphasized. The first meal of the day is one sure way to kick start your metabolism. Nutritionists are of the opinion that having a solid meal in the morning is a good way to get your daily energy requirement. However, many people face a problem on deciding what to eat. The best way to avoid monotonous dishes is by utilizing breakfast seasonings.

Cinnamon tea and coffee are common in many kitchens. The popularity of this herb hails from its polyphonic properties that allow it to regulate the levels of sugar in blood. Cinnamon adds a sweet, tantalizing aroma to tea. The taste is rejuvenating and helps to keep the brain awake. Cinnamon is also used to marinade stew, meats and fruits.

Rosemary tea is the definition of heaven to vegetarians and health buffs. This spice contains plenty of carbonic acid which limits the activity of free radicals in the brain. So essentially, it lessens the risk of heart disease, cancer and stroke. The pungent smell of rosemary may be a little discouraging but the benefits far outweigh the costs.

The sound of sizzling bacon on a skillet is like music to many individuals. Bacon is undoubtedly one of the most popular and filling morning dishes around the western world. These delicious pork strips are best enjoyed when marinated in thick, spicy sauces. Capsaicin and chilies are a must add to the marinating sauces. Taking proteins such as bacon every morning provides enough energy to last throughout the day.

Ordinary tea and bread no longer cuts it as an inspiring morning dish. However, many individuals go for this option since it is the easiest to prepare. Tea or coffee can be spruced up by adding a dash of ginger. This additive is composed of chemicals that have anti inflammatory properties. This explains why ginger is a common component in cough syrup, and its use in relieving headaches.

Eggs are a favorite morning dish in many homes. There are different types, but chicken and goose eggs are the most common. The best thing about eggs is that they are very versatile in terms of cooking methods. Eggs can be boiled, fried, poached, scrambled or eaten as an omelet. To enjoy this dish, one has to experience with a variety of spices and herbs. Tomatoes, onions and parsley work well with eggs.

While it may not be the nutritionist choice, pizza makes for a large proportion of breakfast in many homes. Leftover slices of cold, greasy pizza are the perfect on the move meal. Furthermore, when pizza is left to lie overnight it tastes different, thus reducing the monotony. Pizza is a heavy carbohydrate food that provides a lot of energy.

Using breakfast seasonings is the best way to add dynamism to your food. This is a significant meal that provides the requisite energy and mental strength to perform difficult tasks. Some misguided individuals think that missing breakfast saves them from gaining extra pounds. However, this notion has been repeatedly ridiculed by nutritionists.
