How To Prepare The Best And Delicious Lemon Bars

Many will agree that once you start eating tasty bars filled with a light taste of lemons, you cannot stop. These treats are often associated with fond childhood memories and creates the perfect dessert that is truly easy to make if you are looking to impress your guests. With the easy bake tips for delicious lemon bars, you will probably use this recipe over and over again.

It is important to achieve the right crust to filling proportions to ensure that you achieve the right balance of flavors and textures. There are many recipes that have been made available on the web, but the key is to create the best possible bar consistencies. A combination of sugar, butter, and large eggs should be used for extra cream fillings.

The crust requires 1 and a half cups of all purpose flour, two thirds cup of powdered sugar, salt including half a teaspoon, quarter cup cornstarch, and hard butter including 12 tablespoons. For the filling you will need 4 large eggs, around 10 and a half ounces of sugar, 1 and a third cup of milk, a pinch of salt, and 2 teaspoons of lemon zest with two thirds a cup of juice. Use medium and larger sized bowls.

The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees F including a deep baking tray greased with oil or spray. One should prepare the salt, cornstarch, powdered sugar, and flour in a bowl while stirring slowly until completely mixed. Include the use of a food processor for ease of mixing and to cut the frozen or hard butter into the mix until combines for 10 seconds.

The result should include a course consistency as it will be baked for the light crust. This mixture should be pressed into a 13 inch tray and spread for even layers. The tray should be placed into a fridge for 30 minutes and then baked for 20 minutes and removed once it develops a golden appearance.

In the creation of the filling proceed to whisk the eggs, sugar, and flour into a bowl and then combining with the lemon zest, juice, and milk. While the crust is still warm, you will need to pour this mixture onto the top of the crust and place back into the over reducing the temperature by 25 degrees. It should bake for another 20 minutes.

The treats should be cut into slices once completed. It is best to add powdered sugar over the delicious lemon bars for a sweeter experience. Be sure to monitor the baking process to prevent from over heating and to achieve desired results.
