Some Tasty Vegan Dinner Recipes

Contrary to what many people believe, being a vegan does not mean that one cannot enjoy eating really good food anymore. This just means that vegans would have to find tasty substitutes for delicious dishes that have meat in them. So in order to lead a healthier lifestyle and still enjoy some great tasting food, try out some of these vegan dinner recipes.

The vegetarian burrito is a favorite among many vegans that enjoy eating tasty food. Although there is no meat, one may actually make a really good burrito by just using a lot of rice, a large amount of beans, a little cheese, and some lettuce. Also, one will need to put a lot of sour cream inside and if he would want, he could also put some hot sauce.

Another very nice recipe would be the vegetarian pasta which does not make use of any piece of meat. In order to make the sauce, one must saute the onions and peppers as well as the tomatoes. Next would be to add the tomato paste along with some olive oil and let the mix cook for about forty five minutes. After that, just cook the noodles and then mix it together with the sauce.

Veggie burgers are also a really good thing to eat if one is into eating hamburgers but cannot eat meat at all. Now in order to make the quote and unquote meat of the patty, one will be needing mix some milk, eggs, and some bread crumbs so that the patty can be formed. So just get a bowl, dump in some flour, some eggs, the crumbs, soy milk, and the onions and just mix them up.

When one already has made the patties, he should start shaping them up in order to fit the burger. The next thing to do would be to take out the frying pan and start frying the burger. Always remember to use vegetable oil or corn oil because these are the ones that vegans will be able to eat.

An all time favorite snack that many vegans would enjoy eating would be the vegetarian style fish and chips. Now in order to make the fish part of the dish, one must use tofu in order to substitute for the meat part. Basically, one must first drain the tofu until the there is no more water left so that it can be able to take in the malt vinegar.

The following step would be to soak the tofu in some malt vinegar and let it absorb the malt overnight. After that, whisk together some salt, pepper, and flour in order to make the batter. Then dump the tofu inside the batter and bake the tofu in the oven until it becomes a little crispy.

As one can see, these vegan dinner recipes are extremely easy to do and do not take up much effort or time. The best part of it all is that these dishes are very tasty and would make a fine meal for vegans anywhere. It is definitely not true that vegans cannot enjoy eating good food anymore.
